God Bless American Psalm 33-12 copy
“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?”  Romans 8:31-32 (ESV)

Many people claim this scripture verse as “their favorite” and rightly so.  When God says, I, the creator of universe am with you, how in this world under the sun can I feel alone?  I too claim this scripture as one of my favorites and often times the one I run to when I feel the world closing in on me.  Thank you LORD for reminding me to stop my striving and switch my focus from my problems to Your Presence.

Dear Heavenly Father, what an everlasting Father you are! When you tell me -  You, the Creator of the Universe, are with me, I am awestruck and speechless.  This mental picture brings me to my knees in worship of you.   LORD, I understand that you are sovereign and your thoughts are not my thoughts and your ways are not my ways.  And when I look at the mess I tend to make of my days, I am forever grateful that you are with me.  It is because I believe you and feel your presence in my life that I can accept your gift of grace and everlasting love.  Thank you for the sacrifice Jesus made so that you and I can have this relationship. The sacrifice that shows that You are for me even when the world stands against me. Thank you Lord for loving me today, tomorrow, and always.  Thank you for blessing the nation I live in.
In Jesus Precious and Holy Name, Amen.

Have a blessed day,
~Catherine

Isaiah 55:8 (ESV)
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.

Psalm 33:12 (ESV)
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!
