Homemade Cheese Balls with Crushed Pecans

Serves: 3 balls
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 (1 ounce) package ranch dressing mix
- 2½ cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Pepperjack cheese
- In a medium size bowl or food processor, mash cream cheese.
- Mix in dry dressing mix and Cheddar and Pepperjack cheeses into the cream cheese.
- Shape the mixture into a ball.
- Roll the ball in the chopped nuts. Refrigerate covered until ready to serve.
- Serve with crackers or pita chips.
Favorite strong cheese (cheddar, pepper jack, Monterey Jack, Colby) can be used to mix into the cream cheese base.
