This impossibly easy meat pie blends the wonderful flavors of hamburger, onion and cheese. A family pleaser!

Serves: 6 servings
Ingredients
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 large onion chopped (at least 1 cup)
½ teaspoon salt
1½ cups shredded Cheddar cheese*
½ cup Bisquick mix
1¼ cups milk
2 eggs
Instructions
Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray 9" glass pie plate with cooking spray.
In a 10 inch skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain. Stir in salt. Spread in pie plate, sprinkle with cheese.
In a small bowl, stir remaining ingredients with fork or wire whisk until blended. Pour over the meat and cheese mixture.
Bake about 25 minutes or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
Notes
*A mixture of cheeses will give depth of flavor. Suggest Pepperjack, Monterey Jack, or other favorites.
